FANTASY ISLAND (TIGHT-FIT)

Welcome to Fantasy Island!

"Tight Fit" (Steve Grant, Julie Harris, and Denise Gyngell) were a British pop group who had a string of hits in the early 1980s. They are probably best known for their cover version of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" which made it to Number 1! Their other hits included, "Back To The Sixties" and "Secret Heart", but their most totally popplastic hit ever has to be Fantasy Island! A fantastic but underplayed hit which even comes with a unique dance routine compliments of Popplastics Andypop!

Tight Fit: Fantasy Island

Fantasy Island was originally an entry by the "The Millionaires" in the Dutch National Song Final in 1982 (for Eurovision). However the Dutch somehow failed to select this as their winning song - Another clear case of crimes against Pop - Send them down!

Fantasy Island - not to be confused with the TV show of the same name!
