DAX - CALLING LOVE!

It's hardly popplastic, it's not even poptastic, BUT when we came across Dax and his single Calling Love we developed a strange attraction to it and couldn't help but sing along to the Calling Love bits.

Dax O'Callaghan is an English singer, dancer and actor. In England he is best known for presenting the LOL:Laugh Out Loud show, his small role as Jack Price in the BBC soap opera EastEnders and his subsequent appearance in the medical drama Casualty. However he is more widely known in France as a singer and his single 'Calling Love' was hugely successful there. Yah, someone else liked it too!

Credit Crunch hits Pop!

Popjustice have reported the first casualty of the economic malaise that has gripped the world.

It is with sadness in our hearts that we bring you news of the demise of ...... Billiam.

But Billiam are not gone, they will live on in our hearts, AND in the case of PopPlastic they will live on in our Ipods. Well one track will at any rate. Billiam leave behind a musical legacy, a legacy know to millions simply as ... Boyz Text Girlz. Perhaps one of the greatest pieces of music ever written (that afternoon). To be fair we love it!

KERRY KATONA ON THIS MORNING!

Popplastic's favourite kitten (Atomic) appeared out of control on ITV's This Morning.

Former Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona shocked viewers today after she made an erratic appearance live on This Morning.

The reality television star, who has previously battled drug addiction, slurred her way through an interview with Fern Britton and Philip Schofield.

The presenters were clearly worried about her state and told her they had been contacted by viewers during her interview expressing concern.

Philip said: 'You don't seem right to me. You've got the body sorted but your speech is a bit slurred. How are you feeling?'

A surprised Kerry glanced off camera and asked: 'Is it? That's probably because I'm on medication at night-time, which I took at half past 11 last night, didn't I Mark?

'I was on a TV show last night. I wasn't talking like this yesterday, probably because it's early in the morning. I've got it with me - it's 150mg of Propiomazine.

She continued: 'Now this is going to be made into a huge, big publicity thing. I'm absolutely fine, all it is is my medication, I swear to God, I'm absolutely fine. I literally just got here. I'm fine, never been happier, I swear to God.'

BLUE PETER is celebrating it's 50th anniversary, but in true Blue Peter style whole chunks of their history have been air brushed from history.

BP portrays itself as a family, but what kind of family dumps its members and treats them like social pariahs, offering them no chance of rehabilitation or redemption.

Biddie (Bitchy) Baxter sacked 1980's presenter Michael Sunden believing that he might be gay. Not even Michael's death in the late 80's of an Aids related illness was enough to bring him back into the fold, it's as if he never existed.

Then of course there was the Richard Bacon incident. Richard's invitation to the 50th anniversary celebrations must have been lost in the post!

BRITAIN'S GOT THE POP FACTOR AND POSSIBLY A NEW CELEBRITY JESUS CHRIST SOAPSTAR SUPERSTAR STRICTLY ON ICE!

Peter Kay's spoof reality pop talent show Britain's Got the Pop Factor and Possibly a New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly on Ice aired last night on Ch 4. It poked fun at the reality pop TV format and mocked the formulaic approach adopted by producers such as Simon Cowell.

Even the winners song followed the traditional formulaic approach, with key changes and the likes. We loved the winners song and could just imagine it reaching the number one spot!

Sean Mac is a 20 year old Singer/Songwriter from the UK and has just finished recording his debut album with Sony BMG. His debut single 4 Leaf Clover is available on iTunes from the 6th October 2008, released physically on September 22nd. His album 20 Light Years will be released in November 2008.

It's a great track and we just can't get enough of it. It's kinda Mika like which is always a good thing.
