Seems as though everyone is talking about the new John Lewis Christmas advert, apparently it's all about the story. It's a nice enough advert but as for the song, OMG!
The advert features Slowing Moving Millie's version of the Smiths classic, Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want.

The song's by the amazing Scottish singer/songwriter Any Macdonald (no relative of the MacDonald Brothers). This is the Life is taken from her incredible No.1 selling debut album by the same title. The album also includes, Run,Mr Rock & Roll,L.A. and Poison Prince.
Getter Jaani represents Estonia this year with "Rockefeller Street". The song was composed by Sven Lõhmus, who also wrote the Estonian entries in 2005 and 2009.
It's a great upbeat song and an instant hitter and Estonia's best chance of regaining the title for years,

Ireland's critical financial situation can only be explained by the fact that they must have blown their entire IMF loan on this years Eurovision entry! This year the one and only Jedward will be representing the Emerald Isle.
OK, they can't sing and the song will never be listed among the classics of Eurovision, but you've just got to love it and it must stand a chance of doing really well (or really badly), but we love it!!!

As usual (well almost) Sweden have come up trumps with their Eurovision entry. Eric Saade represents the home of Ikea this year with his high energy track, Popular. A song that wastes no time in getting to the point. Popplastic are confident Eric's going to put Sweden back where they belong and restore their reputation as Eurovision royalty!

Eric Saade also attempted to represent Sweden last year with his amazing song Manboy, how is wasn't selected will remain one of Eurovision's greatest unanswered question.
