Wall of Sound, Phil Spector, 69 was sentenced on Friday to 19 years to life in prison, but was it for the second-degree murder of Lana Clarkson or for his hair and buttons!
It's official Susan Boyle isn't leaving Britain's Got Talent 2009!!!!!
It took a lot of persuading but we did it!!!!
ITV said:
Susan Boyle has tonight denied she will leave Britain's Got Talent.
The Scottish singer will remain in the show, continue with rehearsals, and perform on Saturday's big Grand Final, a show spokesperson said tonight.
Newspaper reports of an emotional outburst from Susan, as well as supposed threats to leave, "have been taken out of context, and are not serious or true".
The spokesperson said, "Susan Boyle is still very much part of the Britain's Got Talent. She is looking forward to the Grand Final and she is rehearsing hard to prepare for the biggest night of her life".
"She, like all of our contestants, is being closely looked after by programme makers. Susan's personal welfare is very important to us, and we will continue to do everything we can to make sure she remains happy and well".
After causing an unprecendented global sensation, Susan Boyle has swapped a quiet village life for the centre of a media frenzy, with the whole world looking on.
But the Bathgate lady, dubbed 'the most famous woman in the world', is dealing with the transition well. She has confirmed, "I want nothing more than to stay and sing in the Britain's Got Talent final".
"I've spent weeks rehearsing - it's all I've been thinking about. I'm not going to throw away my big chance now".

One of our American readers (we'll call him Nomad), or should that read, our American reader (singular) commented on a recent Alexander Rybak post, commenting that he bore a resemblance to Kris Allen, a current finalist in the latest series of American Idol.
We thought we'd check him out!
It's certainly not a case of separated at birth but I guess they do look kind of similar, however no one could ever compete with our Alexander's amazing eyebrows!
We were more interested in discovering Kris Allen's musical abilities and after a bit of googling and YouTubing him we were left feeling quite impressed by our Alexander's looky likey.
Here's our favourite Kris Allen YouTube track we stumbled upon...

Popplastic is supporting Kris Allen in American Idol 2009 (but he is the only contestant we're aware of!) . . .
She might not have won this years Eurovision Song Contest but Jade's performance tonight was amazing and she has returned the UK to its rightful place at the top of Eurovision.
Jade and her amazing song, It's My Time came fifth, in fact it almost came in the top four until one of the last votes from Norway pushed her back in to fifth place.
But we think all things considered she did a fantastic job tonight and restored the UK's reputation in the process!!!!
Watch Jade...

In the unlikely event that Norway doesn't win who else might win???
We reckon it could be, Sweden, Portugal, Iceland, Greece, Bosnia, Estonia, the Ukraine and maybe even the UK!
A is also for Albania, another Popplastic favourite of Eurovision 2009!
Albania - Eurovision 2009
Kejsi Tola is representing Albania with her song Carry Me In Your Dreams. She's one of this years youngest entrants but that doesn't stop her from delivering a fantastic performance, we love it!
